Hoodia Mint Reviews

Hoodia Mint is a weight loss supplement that is produced and sold in the United Kingdom that not only taps into the hype surrounding hoodia for nonprescription dieters, but it also claims to be able to eliminate the bitter taste that they say is associated with its use through a minty flavor, which is added with xylitol.

This product comes in the form of a tablet, and the official website claims that it contains 1000 milligrams of hoodia that is supposed to function as an appetite suppressant. It is suppose to trick the brain into thinking that the stomach is fuller than it actually is. It is a traditional hunger suppressant used by Bushmen in the Kalahari Desert. At the same time, no reputable studies have shown that it is effective in the form of a pill or that it actually has any impact on losing weight.

The manufacturers of Hoodia Mint, who are not identified on the official website – though communications are sent to a company called “Studio Media” in Hartlepool, England – claim that the appetite suppression from their product is strong enough that it can encourage a dieter to consume less food and ultimately achieve weight loss. They claim that the hoodia contained in their product is 100 percent pure, to ensure its best effectiveness.

Assuming that hoodia is effective – which has never been proven – it is important that they do have the highest quality and purity in Hoodia Mint, because it is the only active ingredient that this product contains. Aside from that, it also contains xylitol, peppermint, and vanilla flavoring, in order to give the pills a better taste, as well as the cellulose, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, and chlorophyll that make up the tablet, itself.

Though the only thing that is unique about the ingredients in Hoodia Mint is the fact that it includes flavorings, another notable point that can be made about this product has to do with the directions for use. Though these products are usually swallowed whole with a glass of water, this tablet can be taken that way, or chewed, or sucked until it dissolves. This could make it notably easier to take for people who struggle to swallow pills, and sucking on the tablets could provide a brief oral fixation to help to distract from hunger (regardless of whether the active ingredient works or not).

Each package contains 21 tablets, and 3 must be taken per day. As every package costs $24, this means that Hoodia Mint is quite expensive at $96 per monthly supply.
