Height Converter

The height converter calculates standard imperial units to metric. It can convert feet to centimeters and centimeters to feet with considerable accuracy. To use the height converter simply type your height into the text box, select which units you wish to convert from the drop down list and click 'Submit'. If you know your height in feet and inches, or in centimeters, you can easily get it converted vice-a-versa to the nearest conversion metrics. For example if your height is 5 feet 10 inches, type 5.10 in the text box, select the “feet to centimeters” from the drop down list and click ‘submit’.

In making the calculations, the following conversions are used:

1 inch = 2.54 centimeters

1 foot = 12 inches

*Note: If using this height calculator to convert feet to another measurement, please use whole numbers (e.g. 5, 6, 7) - no decimals. If you are calculating a height that is, for example, 5 feet 12 inches (5'12"), convert 5 feet on its own then convert the inches separately and add the two values together.
