Zotrim is an over-the-counter (OTC) diet pill that is manufactured and supplied by Wolfson Berg Limited, a company that is based in Cyprus and claims to produce its supplements in FDA-approved facilities, using 100% effective ingredients that are based on the company’s “pioneer and well-researched formula.” The company’s objective is to provide users with the “best weight loss results possible.”

Zotrim can be used by both men and women. However, when this Zotrim review was created, it was evident that the manufacturer was targeting this product to women based on the official site’s ads and “Success Stories.” The claims for this diet pill is that it can help users:

• Lower meal sizes and feel fuller for longer
• Burn a greater amount of calories

• Lose weight with greater ease

It’s All about Three Herbal Ingredients

Zotrim herbal weight loss aid claims to help with lasting weight loss by using the three herbal extracts, Maté, Guarana and Damiana.  The combination of these three herbal ingredients supposedly can help to lower the overall intake of food. Avoiding overeating and ingesting fewer calories can help with weight loss. That being said, the full list of Zotrim ingredients include:

• Di-calcium phosphate
• Yerba mate
• Guarana
• Damiana
• Caffeine
• Vitamin B3
• Talc
• Sodium carboxymethylcellulose
• Magnesium stearate

The suggested dose is to take 2 or 3 tablets with a full glass of water or a cold beverage a few minutes prior to meals. The maximum number of tablets that can be taken per day is 9. As this product does contain stimulants, most notably caffeine, it would likely be best to avoid this supplement if you are sensitive to caffeine. It would also be a good idea to avoid taking it too late in the day or too close to bedtime as stimulants may disrupt your sleep.

Is It Effective?

Clinical studies have been conducted on both the ingredients in this product and on Zotrim itself. That being said, this does not mean that the product will deliver “proven weight loss” as the manufacture claims. A handful of studies isn’t enough to prove the product effective. Additionally, it would likely be in your best interest to consult with your health care provider prior to taking Zotrim to make sure that it is the right and safe choice for you.

This is especially important if you are pregnant, a nursing mother, are planning on becoming pregnant, have a medical condition, are currently taking other medications or supplements to treat a health condition, or if the person who intends to take this product is under the age of 18.
