Super FAS Lean is an over the counter diet pill that has been designed to function as an appetite suppressant. The goal is to make it easier for dieters to be able to eat less without suffering from hunger pangs, while also benefiting from a faster metabolism. The primary ingredient in this formula is a patented substance called iFAS50. According to the patent, it is supposed to function as a fat blocker.
As a whole, the formula is actually based on three main active ingredients, which it refers to as “potent herbal extracts”. These substances are: PolygonummultiflorumThunb., Loranthusparasiticus (L.) Merr., Camellia sinensis, and caffeine.
The official website for the product mentions “various animal studies” that would indicate that the function of the patented ingredient could be directly linked with reduced appetite and the blockage of fat storage, which is also known as lipogenesis, in addition to causing weight loss. While there is an asterisk at the end of that statement to indicate some kind of footnote or additional information, at the time of the writing of this review, the actual area to which that asterisk was making reference could not be located.
This makes the research seem rather dubious, even if it isn’t. For one thing, the specific studies were not identified so that they could be verified by the users of the website, but another important issue is that the research was conducted on animals and not on humans. There is no way to know whether or not the same results can be expected when the ingredients are used by people. Moreover, without human study, it is also impossible to know how much should be used in order to obtain the benefits without causing side effects. The identification of side effects also cannot occur without human study, nor can an understanding of conflicts between these ingredients and other medications or medical conditions.
While the claims associated with Super FAS Lean do sound very impressive, it is a shame that the manufacturer has not gone to the extent of supporting them on its official website, which is otherwise laid out to provide a solid amount of information to people who are shopping around for diet pills.
It should also be pointed out that while the product may seem affordable at the ongoing sale price of $25.99 (plus shipping), when taken according to the directions (2-3 capsules before each meal), it means that every bottle of 90 capsules will last only 10-15 days.
