Lean Xtreme is an over the counter diet supplement that is focused on fat burning to help dieters to be able to blast their way through their excess weight at a faster rate than would be possible with healthy eating and exercise, alone.

Driven Sports is the company behind this product. The claim that it makes is that it will provide users with the chance to burn fat without having to resort to using a stimulant. Many dieters and bodybuilders want to be able to use a product that will help them to speed up the fat burning in their bodies, but if they have sensitivities to stimulants that cause them to experience side effects, that can be greatly problematic.

Even without a stimulant, the claim is that it will help to burn fat, maintain lean muscle, and play an important role in the development of washboard abs. Driven Sports also says that people who use this pill will also be able to reduce their cortisol levels. Cortisol is a hormone that is associated with the stress response and is commonly believed to make it harder to lose weight, but easier to gain it around the middle.

Despite the fact that this is a fat burner, Lean Xtreme focuses on marketing itself to a greater extent toward the bodybuilding community, as opposed to simply being designed for people who want to slim down. This means that it is not only found in the weight loss category, but it is also deemed a sports supplement by many.

At the time that this review was written, the official webpage for Lean Xtreme showed that the ingredients that made up its formula were: green tea extract, salvia miltiorrhiza extract, coleus forskohlii extract, phosphatidylserine, 5-AT, and BioPerine®.

What is interesting about that list is that even though the product is being marketed as one that does not contain any stimulants, green tea is actually a substance that contains a certain amount of caffeine. Therefore, while this product may not include any ingredients that are exclusively stimulants, it does contain one ingredient that has a stimulant in it. Moreover, this is the top ingredient, which means that the substance that has been included in the formula in the largest quantity is the one that contains the caffeine.

While it is true that the odds are that the effects of this stimulant would be quite weak, it does shake one’s trust in the claims made about Lean Xtreme.
