Hydroburn is a nonprescription diet pill that claims to be able to help its users to burn fat and lose weight. Its promises are that it will help to provide a double level thermogenic reaction in the body and that its diuretics will help to flush away excess fluids for a temporary slimming effect. It claims that it can accomplish this goal through what it refers to as its unique ingredients that differentiate it from other products on the market: dandelion root, cayenne, and uva ursi. That said, those ingredients are far from unique to this product and are commonly found in weight loss and diuretic supplements.
The Hydroburn formula also includes a long list of other ingredients, but the aforementioned three are those that have been highlighted by the marketers. This product can be ordered directly from a number of distributors online, but not from any official website for the product, as none could be found at the time of this review.
Cayenne has been found to provide a mild thermogenic effect, which causes the cells of the body to burn more calories and fat by increasing the temperature of the body and spending the energy creating heat. However, many studies have shown that a very large amount of it is needed in order to provide any meaningful results. Without the quantities provided on any official website, it is impossible to know whether or not enough was used to create a result that could cause weight loss to occur. Uva ursi and dandelion are both known diuretics that work to help eliminate fluids from the tissues of the body.
It should also be pointed out that the Hydroburn formula contains bitter orange extract. This ingredient is also known as synephrine, which is a substance that was commonly used as an alternative to ephedra when that was banned by the FDA. The FDA is currently monitoring synephrine as it has been linked to many of the same side effects, such as increasing the risk of heart attack or stroke.
The directions for using Hydroburn state that it should be taken four capsules at a time, once thirty minutes before eating breakfast, and once thirty minutes either before lunch or before a workout. It says that no more than 12 capsules should be taken in a given day. It also gives the additional instruction that individuals taking this product for the first time, and women, should begin with half of the maximum dose and increase gradually over time as needed.
