There are a lot of nutrition myths that are out there. People will try almost anything in order to lose the weight that they are looking to and sometimes these nutrition myths are going to get in the way of them actually losing some of the weight that they would like. Here are some of the worst of these myths that you should watch out for. Kale is the healthiest
Many people state that this is the healthiest of all the greens, but when it is compared to the other greens, it is not even in the top 10. This does not mean that you should avoid kale, but do realize there are some healthier greens out there. Diet sodas are fine
Another nutrition myth is that diet soda can actually help with weight loss. This is not true and some of the sugars that are put in diet sodas can actually make it harder to avoid food urges throughout the day. It is better to go with regular soda or no soda at all for weight loss. Yogurt helps with the bacteria in your belly
There are some yogurts that are good at helping out with this, but not all of them are able to do this. This is especially true if you are eating the yogurts that are high in sugars, as this can cause more harm than good in your body. Natural foods are healthier
There really is no regulation on what is considered natural. Someone could put this on a bag of sugar and it would be fine, but you know that this is not healthy for you. Most of these are not going to be any healthier and you will just be paying more for the name so look through the ingredients and determine if it is going to be healthy. Dark chocolate for health
While it would be great if dark chocolate was amazing for us and we could eat it all day and lose weight, this is not always the case. While you can get some benefits out of real dark chocolate, 70 percent or more, you can only eat a bit of this each day. Peanut butter is healthy
With all of the fats that are in peanut butter and all of the processing that comes from it, there really are no health benefits that come from eating this food.
