This budget fad diet loosely claims you will lose 9 pounds in just 11 days with a meal program of lean proteins, fruit and vegetables and very few carbohydrates. The cost to access this diet through its website is $39 for 90 days. The Fat Loss 4 Idiots diet program is also available in book form for about $60.

From a pre-selected list of foods you choose your 14 favorites and within about 15 minutes you are provided with meal plans for 11 days. The meal plans are sparse (one entire meal consists only of cottage cheese) and the recipes so simple as to not appear to be recipes at all. For example the recipe for chicken breast is to cook the chicken any way you like, bake, grill etc. and then it’s okay to add some barbeque sauce or certain seasonings.
