Lifetime membership

What is the lifetime membership at weight watchers? Is it expensive and is it worth it?

They have a lifetime membership? I thought you were just a member until you achieved your weight loss goals. What's the point of becoming a lifetime member? I mean, I guess if it's free you could, but if you have to pay for it...isn't this a waste of money??

Yeah, I think it has something to do with going there to get weighed and if you are within a certain amount or something, you don't have to pay. I'm a little confused by it all, which is why I was asking about it.

Have you ever thought about just asking weight watchers about it?

Yeah there is a lifetime membership. My wife's friend goes and gets weighed every couple of months and it costs her nothing as long as she stays within a certain weight range. She's been doing it for years. Plus, you can take part in their program for free online, can't you? Technically you can follow that as long as you want, so you could consider that lifetime, couldn't you?
