I'm so confused. I've read that coconut oil is amazing for you and I've read that it's terrible for you. Does any research show the answer, or is it all a guessing game?
I like it. As long as you don't eat too much of it, it won't hurt you. It's not as good for you as olive oil or as bad for you as deep frying. It's somewhere in the middle. If you like the taste, go for it, but just keep it to as small an amount as possible.
Not good or bad for you. Just don't eat too much of it and you'll be fine. There are worse ones and there are definitely better ones. It's not the wonder food that so many people claim it is, but a teaspoon won't shorten your life.
There are so many great alternatives that are definitely known to be healthy, I just don't bother with coconut oil. The debates can go on, but I'll just choose one of lots of other options.
