hello all... im here to gain some sort of support for those like me who are trying to lose weight. i have tried so many times to lose weight it gets depressing after awhile. i think this time im actually ready because im just sick of being told how beautiful i am, and one of the most beautiful chubby girls on earth lol... i started AGAIN about October 23 2010. at that time the scale said 235.... and now with patience and encouraging myself im down to 226. this was with little exercise and now this week i am adding in light workouts and walking... im hoping to be down to 125 by the end of next year. its going to take a lot out of me and although i might not sound realistic, i will celebrate getting down to under 200 pounds. those numbers were from 8 years ago. so anywho im ready and just in need of some support... good luck to all and just know it is possible

Hello! we are all here for you! Do not worry, everyone has their own failure story, I know because I have one too. I failed so many times not only in losing weight but also in my life too. Anyway, I have learned that you do not lose in failing only in quitting so press on!
What is your current weight loss regimen? Do you buy diet pills online? Do you have a specific exercise and diet plan? Please let us know so we may learn something from you too.
Welcome to the family and I hope that you will enjoy this forum as mush as we do! Good luck!

Currently I am not able to purchase the healthiest foods, due to my income restriction. That will change shortly. Breakfast is simple, oatmeal and a fruit or 1 cup corn flakes, 1% milk and fruit, snack is usually fruit. For lunch I eat a salad, or a half sandwich, either turkey or low fat ham, light miracle whip, and a vegetable. Snacking I crave breads, so I either eat some crackers or pretzels. I know not good cause of all the carbs. For dinner I eat a salad, with baked chicken, light ranch, or soup and I dont eat the broth, thats where all the sodium is, plus I suffer hypertension. Exercise is either a walk for 30 minutes, or 20-30 minute aerobics, some 40-80 crunches and 10-15 push ups. This is maybe 3-4 days a week, wish I had the motivation to do it daily. As far as diet pills I had a free trial of coloslim, which I dont think has helped too much. I still struggle with candy (Halloween), so I will be happy when its GONE!

I am just so thrilled to see new members in our little forum, it only means that out network is indeed growing and more Americans are taking huge steps to take control of their weight. Welcome sxychubbygrl and stace26!
I agree with stace26, if you want to gain pace in losing weight, you need someone to motivate you and help you keep going. There will be moments when you feel like you want to quit and a diet or exercise buddy will help you keep your mind on the goal, that is to lose weight. Goodluck with you both and I hope you will indeed become diet or exercise buddy soon.

Great going
I am pretty much sure that by helping each other we can certainly succeed. Loosing weight should never be the only motive but looking great with age should be. Weight loss requires determination but is also the best way to judge your inner will. It's a great feeling to find others appreciating your hardwork in any field of life. Whatever you do, do it with your cent percent effort. The results will surely get you going!

I have been away from here for a bit but am glad to say am back. If it werent for this forum I would not have found dieting easy at all. Come June 1st it will be one year since I weighed in at 345lbs. I am finally feeling like I should. Still need to loose so much, however, I will make it. Still need the support from people who know what I am dealing with. Thank everyone. And Welcome to all the new comers.
