I have heard that if you drink a big glass of water before eating it is supposed to make you eat less, but for me it doesn't seem to make a difference. What I do find helps though is drinking a glass of vegetable juice before a meal. I find I am not nearly as hungry after and I am eating significantly less then I normally would. Probably a good 150 calories less.

I've done this before, the problem is that juicing is so expensive as you use so much produce, and with the economy I had to stop that for now. But a big glass of tomato and beet juice with an apple thrown in for flavor, it's a huge filler and I absolutely eat less, in fact sometimes I would just have that for lunch.
I love the way I feel when I juice, feel so healthy and know I'm getting all those nutrients, I think it's one of hte best weight loss tips around. Thanks for bringing it up! Maybe I'll try less expensive veggies, cucumbers are in right now, that's a good base for a juice to start with, apples are in too, hmm getting thirsty thinking about it.
