Use condiments such as mustard, ketchup, and BBQ sauce instead of mayonnaise, butter, or margarine. There are few calories in mustard, ketchup, and BBQ sauce as opposed to the many calories and fat content in butter, margarine and mayo. Also mustard, ketchup, and BBQ sauce are all packed with flavor! You don't have to sacrifice taste when you use those items.

It depends on how much you user per day Ben. It really can add up quickly. There is a LOT of fat in mayo and margarine. If you are going to use those things then buy the light/low fat versions. If you are only using about 1 Tbsp per day then you are probably fine. There is a Becel lite, blue container I think, that is only 35 calories and 4grams of fat for 2 teaspoons so that's what I use. It's less then half the fat of regular butter/margarine. Stay away from regular mayo as much as possible (even subway only carries low fat mayo) that stuff is an ass spreader.
