  • Rationalize Your Workouts

    Finding the time to get to the gym can be very difficult. However a 1/2 hour workout is only 2% of your day (assuming 24 hour days). For me, the most motivating thought was comparing my workout to watching a sitcom on T.V. As a huge Two and A Half Men fan, every time I would sit down to watch an episode, I would remind myself that in the 1/2 hour that I was sitting and doing nothing, I could complete my daily workout. Thus, I bought a treadmill and now work out for that entire half an hr. I would do this everyday (5 days a week) so I get at least a half hr of excerise per day. Find a way to rationalize your getting excerise and you will be amazed at what you can fit into your day.

    This is exactly what I did. I got a stair master in my TV room and would do the stairs for an entire Seinfeld episode each day. (Less one commercial break. I gave myself a small break. Granted in the beginning I could only do half an episode but I worked my way up!)
