  • Eat your vegetables first

    I'm not a huge fan of vegetables, but I do my best to eat them. I've found that when I make the largest portion of my meals vegetables and eat them first before I eat the other foods on my plate that I like better, I not only ensure that I get the healthy food I need, but I fill up on it so I don't over-eat on the stuff I should limit. I just wanted to share my little discovery in case it helps someone else :)

    That's an interesting theory. I guess that might be good if you don't like vegetables. That said, I'm not sure how that might help a person lose weight.

        I don't quite see how eating your vegetables first will serve any other benefit aside from making sure you eat them. Personally, I don't find vegetables all that filling, so even if I ate them first I would still be hungry for all the other food. Maybe that's just me...
