I recently heard that a good tip to follow if you're trying to lose weight is to eat eggs for breakfast. Why would that be beneficial for weight loss? Does anyone know? Plus, I always thought that you shouldn't eat eggs every day. Isn't that bad for your cholesterol?

It's not going to kill you to eat eggs every day for breakfast (especially if you prepare them in the least greasy non-fat ways - e.g. boiled or poached) but at the same time you can get protein from other healthy stuff that can give you a boost in the morning, like nuts or even some beans. Don't just listen to what the "experts" say. Variety and balance are what is most important for the best weight loss success. No single food is essential for weight loss.

You can eat eggs (up to 3 whole eggs) daily without this causing any real harm to your health or LDL (Bad) cholesterol. Eggs can also consistently raise good cholesterol which is a good thing. Eggs are a good source of protein so they can help give you energy and satiate your hunger. They are a great start to your morning for weight loss for this reason.
