What are some great tips to lose weight but in a healthy way, not just in a fad way like the cabbage soup diet?

  • #2
You may have heard this before, but although it may be an oldie, it's still a goodie and we all need to be reminded sometimes: drink lots of water!

It really does help you to lose weight. It makes you less hungry, it reduces bloating, it helps you be more regular so you don't store up toxins in your body, and it helps with digestion.

    Pretty great!

That's exactly true. No matter how you package it or how you do it, without exercising every day and eating right, then you won't lose weight and keep it off.

Cook your meals using whole foods. Don't buy pre-prepared stuff. It's not only more expensive on your grocery bill to buy things that are already made, but those foods are higher in sugars, other carbs, fats, sodium, and chemicals, and aren't as high in overall nutrition.

Also, when you cook your own meals, you really see what goes into them. You know exactly how much good or bad is in it. I am always stunned when I read food labels. For example, the amount of sugar in regular spaghetti sauce! When I make my own sauce, I know there isn't a ton of sugar in it.

When you make a chicken, keep the bones, fat, skin, and other parts you discard (we'll pretend you discard the skin because you're keeping your fat down haha). Then, boil it all in water with some herbs and spices and then strain out everything from the liquid. Chill. In a few hours, or the next day, scrape off the fat on top of the liquid (it's the hard white stuff) and toss that out. Now you have an amazing chicken stock. freeze it in plastic containers and you can easily make soups or use it in recipes to boost flavor without all the extra salt and chemicals! It's REALLY easy

                    In choosing your protein

                    - Choose the leanest cuts of meat and trim off any visible fat

                    - Add beans or vegetables to minced meat in recipe. This adds fiber, makes the meal go further and ensures that is has fewer calories.

                    - Limit the amount of meat you eat and use low fat cooking methods.

                    - Separate the juices from the fat after roasting meat and use them to make gravy.

                    - Remove the skin from the poultry: it contains about 60 per cent of the calories.

You need the brain set. Reducing weight is easy but maintaining it that way isn't.
Keep a food journal, producing everything you eat, Depend up the calorie consumption and less 500, That is what you want to be consuming.
Just strolling isn't enough, try to do 15 moments or 50 percent an hour of aerobic work out a day(search up cardio work out exercises on search engines.com).
Try to exchange the harmful with the healthier e.g a unique K treat bar instead of candy, Darkish breads for white-colored breads or yogurt for wasteland.
Eat your 5 a day and consume a cup of natural tea a day
Drink 1 litre of water a day and also LEARN to really like yours!

Swimming is a great idea for losing weight. It is very easy on the joints but it uses muscles all over your entire body, from your core to your limbs. I have recently hurt my shoulder so I have become very aware of great ways to exercise that won't be hard on the joints and supporting tissues.

If you have a swimming pool available to you, then it's a great idea to use it. That said, you still got to eat healthy or a lot of the efforts like that are in vain because you will end up consuming more than you burn. It's a two way effort.

Very right saying dear. I am totally agree with you and wants to appreciate you that you share these tips here with us. But one thing which i think also most important that is exercise. With your diet you should also try to do some cardio exercise. And in cardio i think cycling and swimming are most effective exercise.

That's true, but walking shouldn't be discounted. It may seem too simple and it doesn't need a lot of equipment (just the right shoes and possibly a jacket) but it is very effective for staying healthy, burning calories and losing weight. I walk every day for 30-40 minutes. I don't go super fast, but I go fast enough that I am feeling warmer and I'm puffing for air by the end of it. The difference in my fitness level is amazing (I'm going almost twice as far as when I started) and I lose weight every week with this combined with my diet.
