  • Get outside!

When you get yourself up, dressed, and outside, you’re far more likely to move around than you will if you’re in the house. Even if you’re just walking, you’ll travel farther than you would inside. Make a point of getting out and nitpicking about your garden, walking around the neighborhood, and doing other outside things and you’ll automatically exercise more.

This is absolutely true until it gets excessively hot out. Then it's just as bad as the winter! Instead of wanting to stay curled up on the couch and staying warm, you want to stay sprawled out on the couch and staying cool haha.

      walking in the park
      chasing your dog
      cleaning your car
      chopping a wood
      etc.

Those are such an example of daily activities that can be considered as the same movement executed in different forms of exercise

I like to dance around to music while I do my regular household activities. If I'm cooking (alright, not when I'm using a knife ) or when I'm cleaning, if I play something really upbeat, then I can get a little more boogie into a task where I'd usually just be standing. It makes things mroe fun, too!

The leaves should start changing soon in a lot of areas because of autumn. That's the perfect excuse to get outside and walking. Who doesn't love kicking through fallen leaves and looking at the colors?
