  • New mom losing weight

    Hi Everyone.

I'm a new mom as of the end of October and I seem to have gained a few more pounds than expected while I was pregnant. I keep joking that I accidentally ate for two adults instead of eating for an adult and a tiny infant.

I haven't really had the chance to do too much dieting since my baby was born because I've been so exhausted and my schedule was all over the place. I'm starting to get a little bit of time under control now and I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations specific to new mom weight loss when there isn't too much time or a completely set schedule.

Are there any kinds of fast exercises that I can do here and there, instead of all at once? Any super-easy foods I should be eating?

    Thank you x10!

Fat gained from child birth is tougher to take out compared to fat gained from eating. You should expect that your efforts may not pay off as soon as you would like it to be. Without hard work and perseverance, you may not be able to go back to your pre-pregnancy weight at all. Walking is an exercise that is less strenuous yet very effective in aiding a woman get rid of excess fats gained from pregnancy. Weight loss after pregnancy through walking is a small start but it is helpful in preparing the body to get back on track. Ensure your doctor has approved of this first.
