I'm just over 5 months pregnant and I'm officially starting to notice weight gain in the rest of my body and not just my growing baby bump. Is it going to be very hard for me to lose the weight on put on?

That depends entirely on what you do once you have had your baby and how long it takes you to heal. That said, you could help yourself a lot now by avoiding the temptation to over-eat. Watch the amount of salt and sugar you ingest. As much as everyone jokes that you're "eating for two" you're not actually eating for two as in two adults LOL. The best thing you can do for your baby is to give him or her the best nutrients and that comes from healthy foods. Also, as much as you can, try to remain active and exercise while you are pregnant. If you don't know what exercises are safe, talk to your doctor. The more active and food conscious you are now, it will be a lot easier to lose the weight you put on after you welcome your little bundle of joy into the world.

watch what you eat while you're pregnant and keep moving. You'll gain less weight this way. Once your baby is born, continue to watch what you eat and exercise, and you'll get back to the weight you were before you were pregnant. That may sound easier said than done, but that's how to do it. Stay positive

It'll be hard if you don't watch what you eat from now on. The more weight you gain during your pregnancy, the harder it is to lose. Staying active is important. If you're not sure what exercises are safe for your baby, talk to your doctor. There are safe and easy ways to stay fit while you're pregnant. Don't give yourself any excuses.

Thanks for all of your support and advice everyone. I know I have to keep moving and watch what I eat, but it's so hard!! I think I've found an exercise I like though and I've been walking every day. I have also been making a concerted effort to avoid salt, which has helped my sweling! I'm feeling a lot better about myself now!
