  • Can you exercise right up until you give birth?

Is it safe to keep exercising even if your like 9 months pregnant? Is exercise more dangerous the longer that you're pregnant?

Some people can and do. Some people can't. It all depends on your individual circumstance. Your body may be able to handle it or it might not. It's really a taking it a one trimester at a time kinda deal. Pay attention to your body, listen to what your doctor says and ultimately remember that the most important thing is making sure that you and your unborn baby are safe and healthy.

So then it's not more dangerous as you get further along in pregnancy? You can essentially do whatever exercise feels safe and right? What are examples of some exercises when you're in your second and third trimesters?

Unless you are confined to bed rest I don't see why you can't exercise, even if it's just going for a walk. Essentially, find out what types of exercises are safe, find out how to do them properly and then just listen to your body.

Exactly. Listen to your body, know what exercises are appropriate, and as long as there is no medical reason that you can't do them, go for it. There's no reason to stop being active if you feel that you can still be active. No matter what stage of your pregnancy, it's always a good idea to move and its better for your body, again, unless you can't for a medical reason.
