  • How long will it take to get my body back

    I am hoping to lose all the baby weight i gained as quickly as possible. What is the fastest and healthiest way to do this? Am I look at a matter of a few months...or like a year?

    It could take anywhere from three months to a year...really depends on how much weight you gained, how long you need to take it easy for your body to heal, and how active you are.

      With my first kid it took me about 3 months...with my second kid, it too a lot longer, about 8 months. The major difference between the first and the second experience is that I was 1 - a few years older, 2 - I gained slightly more weight and 3 - I had a C-section, so it took my body longer to heal, so I had to be careful with how I moved.

        Thanks for sharing. I have to admit that I don't like knowing that it could take that long to get my figure back, but at least I know that if it is taking long this isn't anything to really worry about. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I lose quickly. Right now I feel like I'm wandering around in a body that isn't mine :(

          Stick to not overeating so you re within your calorie daily limits and exercise regularly (both cardio and strength training) and you'll have an easier time getting your body back quicker. Be disciplined and you will see results faster than if you aren't.
