Can anyone give any tips for losing those extra few pounds of flabby area in around the lower abs? I seem to have everywhere else under control. I walk 2 miles every day and I do yoga. But I just can’t seem to get my abs back …will they come back?

Focus on anything that burns a lot of calories or that targets the muscles around your middle specifically. Or, ideally, do both. You can alternate what you're doing every day so that it doesn't get too boring. Also, sit up straight in your chair all day. It won't take long to find out you're using a lot of muscle power!

Concentrate on doing a lot of your daily activities with your core muscles activated. Instead of just standing around, strolling, sitting in a chair, or whatever you happen to need to do, draw in your belly button a little as though it were tied to a string behind you. You don't need to suck in like david hasselhoff on baywatch or anything, but draw it in enough that you're lightly using your ab muscles. When you do this all day long, it makes a very big difference on top of your regular exercises.
