I think the best diet food in the world is the same one that keeps the doctor away when you eat one every day. The apple! They contain pectin, which helps you to feel more full, so I guess that means you could call it an all natural appetite supprssant. Pectin is also effective for limiting the ability of your body's cells to absorb fat. I eat an apple with my lunch every day. Anyone else have some best food suggestions?

When i started my diet, i found out about black beans. they're filling so that you won't feel hungry to eat as many other foods, but they're also high in protein, soluable and insoluable fiber, and have resistant starch in them. Resistant starch is a special kind of carb that actually helps the body to burn fat.

I also find that almonds are a good diet food. I read about them in a magazine and they have a lot of very healthy benefits. The trick is not to eat too many of them, and buy the ones that aren't salted. They're also good for a heart-healthy diet.

They’re not too expensive, they’re equally healthy whether you buy them fresh or frozen, they’re really high in antioxidants, and they’re low on the glycemic index (if that’s the type of diet you’re into). Also, because they taste sweet, they help to shrink sugar cravings so you won’t end up cheating on your diet and eating sugary foods.

I’ve just found my way to kale. You need to rip off the “spines” of the leaf because they never cook down, but all you need to do is toss them in a pan for a couple of minutes with some olive oil and cook them lightly until they darken in color and they’re very tasty and are packed full of nutrients. They are also very low in calories (1 cup, raw, chopped is 34 calories) and are high in iron, calcium, and fiber (1.3 grams).

Hot peppers are a great kind of weight loss food for two main reasons. The first is that they give the metabolism a bit of a kick for a short time, so that whatever you eat with the peppers has a better chance of being burned off more quickly instead of becoming fat. Also, it gives more flavor without many calories if you are finding your diet food a bit on the bland side.
