Instead of creating a weight loss diary I've been recording all the recipes from the healthy meals I'm making and taking pictures of the meals to go with the recipes. I'm having so much fun creating it. I don't just add the recipe either, I also include other information, such as what meal it was for (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack) as well as what my favorite part about it was (e.g. texture, taste, how fast it was to make, etc.) I feel that by creating this book for myself, I'll always be able to have a bunch of recipes that I can turn to and make depending on my mood. :D

That's a super good idea! I love that you're not only creating a recipe book of your favorites and taking pics, but that you're also recording other stuff, like feelings about it, what you liked best and all that sort of thing! Sometimes I forget what something tastes like, how easy it is to make, etc. and then I decide not to make it again, either because I wrongly remember it being too difficult to make or for some other lazy reason!

This is a very good idea. I hope it's something that works out for you Ron. I can admit that I'm far too lazy of a person and would lack the patience to put together something so cool.

Me, too! That might be something I do, one or two times, but I know me and I just wouldn't have the patience or the motivation to stick to it. That said, Ron, if you can do this, I think you'll have a really good shot at reaching your goals. That level of commitment and dedication is exactly what is needed for weight loss!

Exactly! It's so easy to assume that something was difficult when you don't remember how easy it was to make or how you felt at the time. So many homemade foods are easy to make quickly. :)
