I find that I like tracking my diet a lot more when I work it into regular journaling. Then it’s therapy!

That's actually a pretty good idea. If you just make up a habit of actually journalling and start it off by adding your diet stuff then you can just get it over with and keep up with it. I've heard that journalling before bed can help you to sleep better. Another added feature!

That's a really good idea, but the problem is that I can't keep up with journaling any better than I can keep up with a regular weight loss diary.
I just can't seem to do it consistently, so anything that I do add to the book ends up being pretty patchy. The best way for me to do it - which is pretty lame - is to keep a piece of paper on my fridge. It already has a column with all of the dates filled out for a month (I print it out of Excel) and then I just fill in the approx number of calories every day and then my weight every Saturday morning.
