I've got a somewhat gross question...when you lose a bunch of weight and you're left over with hanging lose skin...I know that there's a surgery that can help take it away. What surgery is it and what's involved? Does it really take away all the excess skin and is it safe?

It's not just one surgery brightstar, in fact, for most people it's several. Essentially it involves a lot of lifts and tucks all over your body where the loose skin needs to be take away and improved. So this could include a tummy tuck, breast lift (usually for women), inner thigh lift, arm lift, etc. Some people refer to it as a "body lift".

Skin adapts. Even after removing large amounts of it, it regenerates. New cells form. It's still really important that you keep up with your weight management program even after a body lift.
