chemical lipo surgery

Has anyone heard of that type of lipo fat reduction procedure that uses chemicals instead of a vacuum/sucking device to get rid of fat?

What’s it called and is it safe?

I think you're talking about lipofuze (not sure of the spelling). That sounds pretty hazardous to me. A fat-eating chemical just sounds like a problem waiting to happen.

Is something like this really legal in the United States? I can't believe how dangerous that sounds. A chemical that eats your fat? How could you possibly control how far this goes and not risk having this run into other parts of your body?

No way. I'd wait a long time before even considering something like this. I'd rather have someone else be the guinea pig for the safety of this type of thing before I inject myself full of things that might lead to all sorts of cancer and disease.
