  • Fall is the worst

    Does anyone else find fall to be the hardest time to lose weight?? I don't know why, but I feel like the last thing I want to do is watch my calories. There are far too many good local foods where I live and the idea of cutting them out of my diet is seriously depressing! I love all the thick rich soups and pies. Am I alone here?

    Yes!!!! I feel the same way! I eat wayyyy to much during the fall and I'm nuts for anything pumpkin spice! Eating is never a problem for me when the weather gets colder haha!

      No, you're not alone! Fall is a pretty bad time of year for dieting. It's not just because it's getting colder and the food is so good, but also because there are a lot of parties and events around this time of year that involve food and eating yummy food, like Thanksgiving and Christmas parties...oh man, I'm doomed.

        I'm glad to see I'm not alone! I've already gained 3 pounds haha. I think I'm just gonna have to face the fact that once the cooler weather starts kicking in, I lose all willpower!

          It is true that we can gain a lot by eating fall foods, but many foods are also low in calories like squash. As is the case with anything we eat, it always boils down to how much of it we eat and how we prepare it :)

            It's true Gina. The problem I have is that while I know that in theory, practically applying it to my reality is another thing altogether lol. With Thanksgiving right around the corner, I'm doomed!
