I do like eating carbs and I'm not a big believer in the whole Atkins/low-carb no-carb dieting methods. I came across CarbLovers and I was wondering if 1 - has anyone tried it. 2 - can you eat all carbs? 3 - can you lose weight on this diet?

I've never personally tried this diet, but I have read up on it. From my understanding you don't eat all carbs (I'm pretty sure white carbs are off limits, like white bread, pasta, rice, etc.). I think you can lose weight on it because you do eat fewer calories, but I didn't want to try this diet because I still found it to be too restrictive. It's one of those diets that sounds like a good idea, but the more you read up on it, the more you realize that there isn't as much to be desired as you initially thought.

I've actually heard pretty good things about this diet. Mostly I think it's good because it teaches you about the carbs that you want in your diet and to avoid those that are problematic (like all the refined stuff). So, even if you research the diet and find that it's not for you, you might still find some of the information they provide to be useful if you are a carb lover :)

I've heard good things about it too. My friend really likes it. He said it's taught him a lot about good carbs and bad carbs. If you really don't want to give up carbs and want to learn more about them, this may be a good way to learn about it. I recommend getting the book and reading it to see what you think.
