  • Anyone ever tried Skinny Bitch

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has ever tried this Skinny Bitch Diet? It looks really funny and I heard the book is a great read. I also saw that they have Skinny Bastard for guys. I was thinking of getting both for me and my boyfriend. Anyone think that's a good idea or will I just be wasting my money?

I have tried it. All I can say that is positive about it is that the book is a very funny read. Unfortunately, beyond that, the diet isn't practical. Essentially, if you want to become a vegan you may want to give it a try, but beyond that you need to give up a lot of foods. I was unhappy the entire time I was on it and while the authors "tough-love" approach was funny at first, eventually I just got sick of it. I don't recommend this one.

I agree with Maggie. It was a fun read, but it's really not a great diet. Plus, it's a diet created by ex-models...nuff said.

My friend tried it and hated it! She said it was an amusing read, but the diet itself is ridiculous. Personally, I'm not interested in having ex-models tell me how to diet. In my opinion, the point of losing weight is to feel like a beautiful woman, not to become a "skinny bitch". You don't need to be skinny to be healthy and attractive.

Okay LOL! I guess I'll just avoid this one. I wasn't looking for a super extreme diet. Wow, my first impression of this was really different!

Yes, Gina, please avoid it LOL! You don't need to be skinny, just a healthy weight.

I have to be the one to disagree with everyone here. I actually liked the diet. It made a lot of sense and it wasn't easy to follow, but I lost weight on it and felt better. I don't do it anymore but it did help me to become a vegetarian. If it's something you'd really like to try, go for it Gina. You never know until you try and you can always quit it if it doesn't work for you. :)

I'm with Tiff. I liked it too. I liked it's no-nonsense approach and I don't care if it was invented by ex-models. If it's practical and it works, that's what matters!
