  • The best diet for me?

    I am looking for a diet that lets you eat any food, provided that you stick within certain reasonable rules. I want a focus on health and nutrition. I am currently walking almost an hour every day so I have the exercise part covered. Now I need something that will go with that so that I will lose 1 to 2 pounds every week for as long as I want. Preferably, I would want one that doesn’t plateau.

    Does anyone know the right one for me? I don’t want anything that is too restrictive or that I will just end up quitting. I just want to let myself improve my lifestyle so I will live better for the rest of my life.

    Have you considered doing something like DASH? It's not primarily focused on weight loss, but if you do it, you're aiming for good heart and cholesterol heath and weight loss gradually happens as a result of eating right and in proper amounts.

      I recently heard that ketogenic diets are also good options for overall health

        I think the best diet plan is what you like to choose in small quantity, by just avoiding junk food and all items which are baked & use preservatives.
