  • DASH diet - effective on a lot of levels

    I just finished reading about the DASH diet in a new way. I’ve always know that it’s good for keeping your blood pressure down but now they’re seeing cholesterol improvements and people are getting better in other areas, too. And it’s free.

    Has anyone tried it? I’m thinking of getting on board!

    I haven't tried DASH, but my aunt does it right now. She's doing it to keep her BP and cholesterol down. She loves it. It's very realistic and achievable and lets you understand your food.

      Thanks for sharing this. It's a diet I've been considering for a while. This pushes me in that direction

        Every time I read about the DASH diet, I find out a little bit more positive about it. I think that the thing that so many of us have overlooked for so long is that being healthy and losing weight is to do the really healthy thing.

          Is DASH only for people who already have high blood pressure or cholesterol or whatever, or is it just a healthy diet that everybody can do. I'm not sure I understand it.

            The type of healthy perspective that DASH has is just what we should all be taught from the time we can think. It should be in schools.
