    I like the South beach diet the best.

    It chooses the right carbs and the right fats and better nutrition.
    You can't eat bread or rice or pasta, none of the starchy carbs.
    It's amazing though how fast you lose weight when you cut these carbs out.
    If you combine this diet with exercise works great.

    south beach diet is designed by a cardiologist and a dietitian so it is pretty effective if you want to lose weight and keep your heart healthy. The diet is mostly about cutting off fats and carbohydrates from your meals to help you lose weight. The first phase is the hardest because you need to discipline yourself to refrain from sugar and carbo but once you step into the 3rd phase, you can eat virtually anything since it doesn't brand any food forbidden as long as you live by the principle of the south beach diet (low carb and fats).
