I think so. There are some that give you energy in different ways than stimulants. For instance, they help with hydration. That sounds like it isn't much, but it makes a surprising difference, especially if you're someone who gets an energy slump in the afternoon.

Not a stupid question. It depends on what your body needs. LIke if you're low in vitamin Bs, then topping those up will give you energy. Same thing goes for electrolytes if you're low on those because of sweating or that kind of thing.
