I knew that white willow bark was similar to aspirin so you shouldn't take it if you should avoid taking aspirin, but I just found out that some experts are warning not to take it to help with COVID. Apparently it can interfere with the body's response to the virus. There isn't any real clinical proof to back this up, but at the same time there is no proof that using this herb is good for treating it either. This is important to know because lots of diet pills contain this herb. Take care everyone. :)

As far as I understand aspirin is fine for COVID for adults who can take it. It's also okay to take ibuprofen and other NSAIDs, even though at first it was recommended to avoid it. You can read more about that here if you're curious https://www.webmd.com/lung/qa/is-it-...virus-symptoms

I honestly don't know the answers to any of your questions, I was just passing on what I had read. Personally, I would just play it safe and avoid using any product that contains it. If you want to take something that has it or you are taking something that has it and would like/need to stay on it, definitely let your pharmacist or doctor know about it and your concerns.
