Is there such thing as a carb blocker pill that can help you to be more successful with a diet like atkins? I’ve heard of fat blockers but can they block carbohydrates, too?

Carbohydrate blocker?

I'm pretty sure that does exist. It's not one of the most common ones (maybe because it doesn't work, I really don't know at all) but I think there is a type of carb blocker that stops your body from making as much of the enzyme that breaks down carbohydrates when you eat them, or something like that. Maybe it's a hormone, but I'm pretty sure it's an enzyme.

I think there is such thing but to me it doesn't make much sense to depend on it. It really won't help you to save all that many calories in a day. The reason fat blockers can help is that fat is huge in calories. Carbs aren't and they're a lot easier to control.

carbohydrate blockers are a kind of enzyme blocker that prevents your body from making the enzymes in the stomach that allow carbs to be broken down (some of them, not all). That means that the molecules stay too big and can't be absorbed by your body so they just head back out of you when you go to the bathroom.
