Would taking a daily multi-vitamin be at all effective for weight loss? I was wondering if the vitamins and minerals in one of these supplements would work to help with energy or regulating any of your body's systems, etc. Does anyone know or is this just wishful thinking on my part haha.

Hmmm...other than potentially helping to keep your nutrient level up, I don't see how a multi-vitamin can be useful for weight loss. Also, before taking a multi-vitamin I would strongly urge you to talk to your doctor. Depending on what you eat in a day, there may be times when it's better that you don't take one of these vitamins to avoid overdosing on certain minerals and vitamins. It's not good to have too much after all.

You'd be surprised to find that it is really easy to overdose on some of them, like vitamin C for instance. I really don't think you should take a multi-vitamin daily for health reasons or for weight loss. This is something you should talk to your doctor about. If he/she prescribes it than fine. Otherwise, just eat well.
