Instead of staying behind at home to hand out treats to trick-or-treaters, this year give that job to someone else, ditch the candy bowl and get outside for a haunted walk! Remember when you were a kid and Halloween night was actually scary? Your neighborhood, suddenly transformed at night into a spooky haunted territory to be bravely explored by flashlight, with possible frights around every corner? Well now certain communities have created ghost tours and some can be as long as 2 hrs! The terrain is varied from easy city sidewalks and moderate hikes though hilly graveyards to challenging stair climbs. The best part is, it won't feel like exercise!

Great idea! After reading your post, I told a few friends about it and we're all going to get together and go for a walk through a huge cemetery we have not too far from where I live. I wouldn't feel brave enough to go alone (safety reasons, not because of ghosts and goblins), but it'll be a lot of fun with a good group of friends!
