I don't understand how the weight watchers system works. I know what you can pay for the program when you're following it but once you reach your weight loss goal, do you still have to pay to maintain? My mom's friend said that she doesn't have to pay to go and get weighed at a center as long as she's in her weight range or something but if she goes over she does have to pay. Is that right? If so, why is that?

Do you always have to pay?

Yeah, I think your friend is right about that. I think once you've reached your goal weight you can go to a weight watchers clinic and get weighed for free. That said, I think beyond that if you wanted to actually engage in the program again, depending on the type of help you're looking for, you'd probably still have to pay for that (ex. counselors, etc.)
