    Is this just strictly some restrictive diet you follow or is there actually exercise recommended with it as well?

    I think there's a "newer" version of it that includes some exercise suggestions but mostly I think as long as you just exercise in a way that works for you it should be helpful. Mostly with South Beach I think the focus is really on following the dieting rules.

      I think the exercise is a mix between cardio and strength training. Honestly, I think as long as you follow the diet and apply your own exercise regimen to it you should be fine. It's more about consistency than anything when it comes to exercise.

        I think it's mostly about the diet. I would just add whatever exercise works for you with it.

          Thanks. I think I will. The more I look into this diet I am seeing that it's more about the food and not really about the exercise so I think I will just do what works for me. That said, I really wish that more weight loss diet plans were actually focused on combining diet with exercise and took into account that if you exercise, calorie limits change. I mean, both what you eat and how much you move are important for losing weight and keeping it off.
