  • The Food Lover's Diet

Is this an actual diet plan or just something that someone created and put in a magazine? I guess what I'm asking is, is there any science to backup this diet plan or is it literally something that was just printed by a magazine?

I think this is the diet from Fitness Magazine, right? I don't know if it's backed by science but it seems pretty decent enough. I mean it doesn't seem to be limiting in terms of food and it focuses on making sure you have 1500 calories, plus an additional 100 calories if you exercise. I'm actually surprised that this diet is still around. I think it was released several years back.

This sounds interesting. All I really care about these day is whether or not a diet is free to try. I really don't trust the ones that encourage you to buy products that they make. It makes me feel that they are more interested in making money than they are in helping you out.

I couldn't agree more! I don't like diets that are designed around trying to get you to buy their products either. It just does't seem honest somehow. I don't think it's a good diet plan if you need to buy a specific pre-made product to lose weight. I mean, how are you supposed to carry on what you learn with you if you decide to stop eating their stuff?

This is a pretty old diet, isn't it? I mean, its still online so you can follow it. That said, I wouldn't worry about the science so much. Just have a look at the plan, see if it's something that can work for you and give it a try or don't. There's plenty of other weight loss plans out there, after all.

I guess that's the truth. Hmm. Maybe I'll just give it a look and maybe give it a go and see what happens. I guess it doesn't matter who created it as long as it's not asking me to do something unhealthy and totally ridiculous haha.

LOL that's pretty much the way I feel about any diet HAHA. I've stopped caring about who made it and just focused on what it's asking me to do and deciding whether or not it's something I can realistically achieve.
