Has anyone tried this? It seems to have a very good rating. Is it difficult to follow? I like that I've read that you never feel hungry on it and that it's not really about counting calories.

A friend of mine has. It's a fairly decent diet, but it does concentrate a lot on eating plenty of fruits, vegetables and broth-like soups. In a way it's a very "hydrating" diet. It relies on water intake to help keep you satisfied and full. It's one of those diets that claims not to be restrictive and says you can eat whatever you want, but it's not really. While you won't go hungry, don't expect to follow the exact diet you're currently on. It can be a long-term diet, but a lot of people tend to get fed up with it and only end up doing it for the short term. That said, if you do follow it, it's likely that you will lose weight.

I thought that this die was supposed to be really good and idea for long-term weight loss. I also thought that it wasn't super-restrictive. That said, the more I looked into it the more I discovered that this really wasn't the case. It's not a bad diet but it really does require you to eat a lot of fruits, vegetables and water-based foods like broths. Essentially, the reason why you feel full is because your'e kinda water logged all the time LOL. It's an okay diet and definitely better than diets like keto, just don't expect it to be easy and you might find you tire of it after a while, too.

Wow, really? I thought that volumetrics was a long-term solution, especially since it's not overly restrictive and it takes time to lose weight. This is really disappointing.

I think it can be a long term solution for some people...I just think that most of us are not some people LOL. I would recommend reading more about it and even give it a try as long as your healthy. Maybe you'll find it is the diet that you've been looking for. We're all motivated by different ways of losing weight after all. Some of us prefer a more natural way of losing weight and some of us need something that's a lot more stricter. You know yourself. Trust your instincts :) And Remember, if it doesn't work there are tons of other diets you can try :D

It is difficult to follow. Any diet that is very different from the one you're currently following is going to be difficult to follow, even if the changes you need to make are not overly complex or limiting. Without realizing it, we've all made habits out of our diets. Breaking any habit that has become second nature to us is difficult, especially for the first little while because it requires us to always be thinking about what we're doing and this take a couple of seconds longer than we like, which can make it hard sometimes to stick to something because the motivation isn't there until it becomes second nature to you. Does that make sense? Essentially, expect a challenge but really work for it if its something that you think will work for you.
