It's really, really hard! I find that distracting myself is important and eating snacks that are zero cal to provide myself with an oral fix and to trick my stomach into thinking it's getting something good. But ya, protein is important. Drinking water may be helpful too.

It's hard but it's not impossible. Make sure you eat high-protein and fiber and drink water throughout the day. This will help to keep you feeling fuller until you get used to eating fewer calories. That said, make sure that if you are following a low calorie diet plan that you don't ingest too little. If you're exercising, don't forget that you need energy. The trick is to burn more calories than you consume, but there's still a happy balance.

Thanks for all of the tips guys. So far I've been finding it really difficult. But I have discovered that by eating smaller and more frequent meals it's not so bad. It's always the worst during certain times of the day when I get a case of the munchies or if I burn a lot of calories.
