Gift certificate

Can you buy someone a gift certificate for LA weight loss? My sister wants to give it a try and has been debating it.I thought it might be nice to give her a gift certificate at Christmas so she can give it a try without forking over her own money. Anyone else ever do this?

I don't see any reason why you can't buy someone a gift certificate to anything, especially if you know it's something they would like or want to try. I get why giving them a gift certificate related to weight loss might seem a little crass, but the gift is for your sister who wants to try it. I think she would appreciate getting on as, like you said, she won't have to fork over the money.

I agree with jenny25! I wouldn't be offended if I got a gift certificate to something I wanted to try. That said, if you're really on the fence about it. you could always just give her cash with a little note telling her she can use it for whatever she wants. You can include what you wanted to get her with the money but with cash you're giving her the chance to decide what she wants.
