Is LA weight loss a long term plan or once you do it for a while is it okay to quit it? I'm asking this question because a friend of mind swears that you only have to do it for a short time and that's it. To me that sounds weird. I mean, aren't you kinda supposed to do diets for life if you want to lose and maintain weight long-term?

Do I have to do this diet forever?

I would imagine that the point is to continue following what you learn and make it a part of your lifestyle. I mean, you probably don't have to keep buying their stuff or going to their centers or whatever, but is the goal of any legitimate long-term weight loss program to maintain what you learn so that you keep the weight you've lost off??

Yeah I don't think there is any cut off point for this program. You simply pick the plan you want and follow it. As long as you're willing to pay, you should be fine. Of course, you can always talk to one of their customer service reps if you've got a lot of questions. :)

Okay well that's good to know. I'm glad that I should be able to follow it as along as I want. It gives me more faith in the system. I just don't want to follow a diet that isn't long term. I don't believe in those because I don't think anything that's short term weight loss is realistic for losing actual weight and keeping it off. I'm tired of yo-yo dieting.

Honestly...if you're aiming for permanent weight loss is there any diet that you don't do forever? I mean, as soon as you stop doing what's been causing you to lose weight...you're only going to gain it back. I wouldn't consider doing any diet unless you're in it for the long haul. That's why it's so important to find something that works for you so that you can stick to it.
