How much meat do you eat on Atkins? I've heard one of my friends call it the "meat eaters" diet, but that doesn't seem right to me. Isn't it about getting more proteins and less carbs? Do you really eat a whole whack of meat while you follow it? That doesn't seem very healthy to me.

Um I don't think you eat loads of meat, I think you just eat more protein which can come from other sources than meat, such as beans. After all, there is a vegetarian version of Atkins so obviously there has to be a way to do this diet without consuming copious amounts of meat.
