  • Water weight loss tips

I really don't like feeling bloated all of the time, and I know that the reason I feel this way is because I'm carrying around too much water weight, likely because of my diet.

Can anyone provide me with tips on how to lose the excess water quickly and in a healthy way and keep it off? I don't want to take diuretics. Thanks

The quickest way to lose excess water weight (in my opinion) is to reduce the amount of salt in your diet and drink more water. You don't have to excessively drink water, because that's not good for you either, but make sure you are well hydrated.

I would also recommend cutting out carbonated beverages, because these can fill you with air and increase that bloated look. Also, getting a good night of sleep does wonders for weight loss and your health, in general.

Cutting out the salt, staying hydrated, and getting proper sleep is what will help you to keep it down. Start paying attention to the foods you are eating (especially if you are eating stuff from a package) a lot of the pre-packaged and pre-made foods and drinks that we eat are FULL of salt. Even the stuff that tastes ultra sweet tends to have a high sodium content. Try to avoid eating out, eating from a box or can, or getting takeout as much as you can. Cook your own meals and put down the salt, you'll lose that water weight and keep it off without any trouble at all!

Thanks for all the great advice. I cut out the carbonated beverages, halved my salt intake and upped my water intake and I've noticed a huge difference :)
