I know setting a weight loss goal can and does work, but I think sometimes we set goals that are beyond our current reach. I think that happens because we haven't yet built a foundation. What I mean by that is, before you make a realistic goal, first build habits that you can stick to first, such as eating more healthier foods and engaging in some form of physical activity every day. Once you've done that for three weeks and living this way is natural for you, from there, make your goals. This way, if you should fail, you'll only be falling back to your regular routine, which is still healthier than how you were living before. Hope that makes sense :D

That is awesome advice!! Creating a normal healthy routine that you know you can logically achieve is definitely a good idea before you start tackling bigger goals. If you don't have a solid jumping off point, if you do end up finding the goals too hard, quitting or failing, it's much easier to fall back to bad habits.
