  • Gaining so much weight

    Ugh, since the pandemic I've been gaining so much weight because I take so much comfort and joy in eating. I know I should be watching what I eat, but I'm in a funk (like I'm sure most of you are) that I can't see my family. It's really starting to get to me. It's so hard to be happy these days or to have something to look forward to with everything up in the air. I just hope I get the motivation and energy to want to work on weight loss again.

    It sounds like you're being very hard on yourself Penny. Maybe cut yourself some slack and trying to work on staying positive. Once you do that and take care of you, you might find that it's easier to get back on track with your weight loss goals. From personal experience I've always found it hard to stick to my weight loss when I'm feeling down and negative about myself and life in general. I hope things turn around for you. :)

      I also think you're being too hard on yourself. That said, I think maybe if you created a routine for yourself and stuck to it, you may get out of your rut a bit. :)

        Creating a routine and keeping myself busy has helped me not to get sucked down into the madness of it all. :)

          Thanks guys. I'll try to do the routine thing. It's just getting so much harder now...I live in Florida and things are getting so bad here. It just seems to never end.

            I feel for you Penny. I have family in Florida and they're really scared, too. I hope that things get better for you.

              Maybe try adding some yoga to your life. That may make you feel better. How are things going for you Penny?
